This month I learned I was moving up to Tadpole in my swim class.I am
talking alot more. It is still babbling but my family can understand what I say. Most of my words start with B: bye bye,
baba (go down), burr (bird), bob (babe, lolo & lola's dog), baw (ball and balloon). But I also know other words like mama,
papa, dada, lolo, lola, up, titon, turtle, shoes, and the funniest of them all is "caca.". If I hear someone fart or see someone
on the toilet, I ask them "caca?"

14 - mommy and I had the flu. We were both throwing up all
night and all day. I was still able to play but mommy was in bed the whole time. Throughout this week, we passed the flu onto
daddy, Lola Lorna, Lolo Fred, Titon, Ninang Jenn, and Isabelle. Sorry!

This month I learned how to moonwalk and do the caterpillar (thanks uncle sam). Titon taught me how to
do the "cool-dude wazzup head-nod." Ninang Jenn taught me how to say "turtle", Izzy's fave animal. Mommy taught me where my
different body parts were: head, eyes, nose, ears, tongue, teeth,and piko. Lola taught me where my dimple is.

24 - I fell on my face and cut open my lip. ouch.
11 - 15 mo doctor appointment. I am now 22 pounds and 4 ounces. I forgot how tall I am.
I still hate shots. I have one more in November (flu booster) and one more when I turn 4 and that's it! Thank goodness!
September
This month I perfected walking. I am running around like crazy opening doors and playing with the toilet
water. Dad has been taking me to the Valley Fair "playland" where I have alot of fun. I got myself into trouble because I
pushed a 4-year old to play with a toy. He slapped me back knocking my pacifier out of my mouth. I didn't cry though. I went
to Great America sometime this month. The rides were OK but I loved running around with Izzy & Kiara.
18 - my first swim class of the fall session - I was held back to the "starfish"
level because I need help going underwater.

This month I started walking a little. I started making new friends at the
Bally's daycare. I also learned how to be a bully there after the older kids started picking on me. One baby bit me in the
cheek.

what's new this month--learned and nearly perfected
crawling. I say "hi" sometimes. I wave hi/bye. I will pull anyone's shirt up or down when I am hungry. I growl when I want
something. I know what boy dinosaurs sound like. I know what girl dinosaurs sound like. I pull myself up. I "cruise" (walk
around by holding onto the couch or playpen walls). I shake my head "no." I play peek-a-boo.

what's new this month--Perfected sitting up on my
own. I still love bouncing/jumping! I don't really like to rollover anymore. I cry when mommy and daddy leave me in the morning.
Moved back to mommy & daddy's bed. I love to spit out what I eat or put my hand in my mouth when there's food in there.
I like to throw everything on the floor and look at it. I like to try to feed myself.

January
new activities this month--I was able to sit up on
my own, though I still topple once in awhile. I learned the art of whining to get what I want. I learned how to throw a tantrum.
I love bouncing/jumping! I can rollover continously across the floor of an entire room until I hit the wall or the TV and
can't go anywhere. I like my pacifier again. I still flirt with everyone especially the ladies--I give them my killer smile
and look away trick. Went to the beach for the first time. Moved to my own bed though I do not like it yet...I want to sleep
with mommy and daddy! I love to spit. I like to throw everything on the floor and whine when I am mad.

14 - Doctor appointment - Izzy recommended a new doc and we met her today,
but I still got shots =( I now weigh in at 16 lbs, 6 oz and am 26 inches long. My brain (head circumference) grew 2cm
to 43. These were the first shots ever. I'm no dummy, as soon as they put me down and I see that lady grabbing my leg I knew
what was coming. I cried before they even stuck me! I was cranky all day and slightly feverish. I know it's not serious and
it will help me fight off infections and stuff but let's see you get stuck four times in one day!

sentence - I was whining when Lola was holding me so she asked what I wanted. I said AAW-WAA-MAA-MAA,
in big-people English that is "I want mama." (mommy's wishful thinking =) )

08 - BIG BOY food! The doc said at my appointment monday that the signs for being ready to eat solids are
1) watching mommy and daddy eat (which I do)
2)
waking up a lot again at night to eat (I'm back to waking up
every
1-2 hours because I'm hungry)
So...today I ate solid foods for the
first time. They say to start of with fruits then veggies, introduce one food at a time (eay to determine allergies,
if any), follow up with water, and/or mix with breastmilk. So for my first meal, I ate bananas! It was yummy! Mommy and daddy
mashed it and added breastmilk the first time. Click "MORE videos" above for the video. Lolo also let me try one of his favorite
fruits, durian. Mommy let me try her favorite fruit mango. Daddy gave me calamansi because he thought I made a funny face,
but I sure did like it!
03 - 4-month Dr appointment...more shots =/ I am now 24.5 inches long and 14 pounds, 4 ounces heavy. I didn't even feel the first shot,
but I sure did feel #2,3, and 4. Click above for the video.

I came into the world 3 weeks early
24 - First Doctor's appointment I
grew an inch and gained a pound already. Must be all the milk mommy's feeding me. My belly button and my titi is all completely
healed too. No problems here! Next appointment is not until I am two months old
22 - 2 week birthday party
19 - Childbirth Express; Isabelle's baby shower well of course mommy and papa didn't go to the childbirth class, that would have been a waste of money. Mommy
and Papa took me to Obon Festival
12 - Family Baby Shower it turned
into my Welcome to the World party last minute. Last minute we invited mommy and papa's friends too. More people showed up
than they expected and it turned out to be such a wonderful surprise. I had a lot of fun but boy was I tired.
10 - Home sweet
home I got to go home today but not without a few parting gifts from the nurses and the doc--I
had my Hep B vac, newborn screening test, and I was circumcised...but I didn't even cry ("strong like bull!")
08 - I WAS BORN!
Mommy had a Doctor's appointment today but it was cancelled because I was born today! Mommy's water
broke at 2:30 this morning and I came crying out at 9:38am. Sounds like a long labor but the hard part was really short. Less
than 2 hours of contractions and only about 10 minutes of pushing. I was crying when I came out and my APGAR score was a 9--not
too shabby, huh? It was great to meet all my family and friends today--there were about 30 people in my little room at one
time! Good thing the nurses didn't complain. Mommy, papa, and I were sooo tired by the end of the day.
07 - co-worker
baby shower mommy's co-workers threw her a baby shower. Mommy couldn't stop talking about how
I had to be out by Wednesday so that we would be home in time for the shower. Her co-workers kept telling her "yeah
right" because first borns are almost always late. Boy, did I fool them!

called in sick so it was cancelled
